Second game saw them play Perthshire. This was a hard game with Perthshire scoring first and it took the bulls a while to equalise. It was in the final minute that Hamilton scored to squeeze through as winners. First game against Kirkcaldy presented the young bulls with an opportunity to use some of the skills that they have been working on in training. A first half saw Hamilton up 3 trys by the half and looked in control. Unfortunately we let Kirkcaldy back into the game in the second half with them getting 3 trys without reply. The bulls pulled it together and finished with another try to secure the win.
The final was held on the main pitch against Falkirk. While Falkirk were winning at half time by 2 trys, the young bulls stuck in and did not give up. Falkirk made it 3 in the second half but the young Bulls picked up their game and scored two of their own. Despite continued pressure the young bulls could not finish the job losing the final 19-12.
The coaches would like to thank the support that travelled and we're delighted buy the progress that a young team that included 5 boys from the current U16s have made in just few weeks. Well done guys.
