The games were the first in a 24-match series across three competing BT Sport Academy age groups (U20, U18 and U16), with Galashiels playing host to all three age-groups on Sunday.
Last Wednesday evening Glasgow Under 20s overwhelmed the Borders team with a 43-0 victory. Hamilton player Jordan McLean started at second row moving to back row for a spell late in the game and by all accounts showed well in a hard physical game that saw Glasgow's defence win the day and keep a clean sheet.
Sunday saw two young Bulls in action at Netherdale in the Borders for Glasgow.
Jordan Mclean played his second game of the regional playoffs for Glasgow Under 20s against Calidonia . Playing the full game, Jordan preformed well and notched up his first try for the squad in a game that Glasgow won 32-15.
Hamiton Prop, Gary Findlay started in his first game for Glasgow Under 16s in the earlier game of the day. Starting at number 3 he played a full half before the front row replacements got their turn. Gary was pleased that he managed to get a number of carries of the ball and managed to make a number of big hits to make a difference in the 25-16 win to Glasgow.
The following rounds will then take place in Cumbernauld and Aberdeen, before the finals day in Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield Stadium on Sunday 21 August.
