Hamilton Rugby Club would like to congratulate Alan Falconer on his appointment with Scottish Rugby as a Regional Development Manager. Alan has been involved at Hamilton for the past seven seasons and has made a number of key changes to the structure of our youth section and community activity. These structural changes along with our dedicated volunteers have made Hamilton Rugby Club the envy of sports clubs across the country.
Alan said, “I would like to thank everyone at Hamilton Rugby Club for the support provided on and off the pitch, the club is truly a special club and I will continue to follow the club's development. My time at the club has been a pleasure; the progressive approach to youth development and the support Hamilton Rugby Club provides to the local community has our club held in the highest regards. The strength and depth of volunteers and the club's values will continue to drive Hamilton Rugby Club forward.” He went on to say, “Scottish Rugby’s Club of the Year award is recognition of the club's commitment to a sustainable future at the top of the amateur game and the effort every volunteer puts in to drive the club forward.”
Hamilton Rugby Club wishes Alan and his family all the best for the future and extends our thanks for his commitment and support over the last seven years. We are delighted that Alan has progressed within Scottish Rugby and once again shows our strong links with the governing body for rugby in Scotland and our progressive approach to the development of our club.
Hamilton Rugby Club is looking to fill the Development Officer’s role by supporting a passionate rugby development specialist. We are looking for an ambitious, self-driven and innovative person who is committed to achieving the highest standards both on and off the field while maintaining our community-centered approach.
Good luck and keep in touch.
